About The Position

Vox Kitchen, part of Kei Concepts, is opening a new location in Aliso Viejo and is seeking high-energy Assistant Managers to join their founding leadership team. This is a hospitality-forward group that values great food, great vibes, and great people. The Assistant Manager will be crucial to the successful launch of Vox Kitchen Aliso Viejo, initially focusing on learning brand standards and assisting with the training of the new hourly Front of House team. Post-opening, the role involves leading daily shifts, driving operational goals, and providing hands-on coaching to maintain high standards of hospitality and execution.

Requirements

2–3+ years of restaurant management experience.
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced operations is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a "lead-by-example" management style.
Must be available for training now and have open availability for our June opening (including nights and weekends).
A genuine love for hospitality and a desire to grow within a successful restaurant group.

Responsibilities

Participate in pre-opening training and assist in the onboarding of the hourly Front of House team.
Direct daily operations to ensure every guest receives the "Vox experience" from the moment they walk in.
Provide real-time feedback and training to hourly staff to improve service speed and quality.
Support operational goals by managing floor cuts and labor efficiency during shifts.
Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure repeat business.
Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and food handling protocols.
Support the AGM and GM in maintaining inventory, cash handling, and facilities standards.
Help foster an inclusive, high-energy environment where team members can thrive.
