About The Position

The Assistant Manager is the restaurant’s operations leader, partnering directly with the Restaurant General Manager to drive profitability, guest service, and team performance. This hands-on leadership role provides ownership across restaurant operations and an opportunity to build a career in restaurant management. The role includes direct mentorship from the Restaurant General Manager and leadership development with a path to General Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience.
• Working knowledge of P&L interpretation and its impact on profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills.
• Available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of college preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory costs through daily, weekly, and monthly inspections.
• Place and receive vendor orders and maintain restaurant asset records.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and vendor relationships.
• Ensure cash control and security procedures are followed.
• Lead the team to deliver fast, friendly, accurate guest service.
• Coach Shift Coordinators and Team Members to improve performance.
• Direct efficient, on-standard product preparation and speed of service.
• Uphold operational and brand standards, stepping in as needed.
