About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for a Tidal Wave Auto Spa site's facility and operations. This hands-on leadership role helps achieve volume, revenue, and profitability goals while leading by example alongside the team. The position offers opportunities for professional development and advancement into higher-level management roles.

The role combines administrative duties with outdoor operational work in a fast-paced, structured, team-oriented environment. The Assistant Manager helps lead a team of 10–15 employees, supports guest service, employee training, facility upkeep, and basic equipment checks, and may work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on company needs. Occasional company-business driving may be required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Willingness and ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and communicate clearly in a noisy environment.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving standards for occasional business driving.
• Completion of a drug screen and background check as required by state guidelines.

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
