About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports pizza-store operations and may perform delivery duties. Responsibilities include preparing and assembling pizzas, handling customer-facing tasks, stocking ingredients, cleaning, and delivering products and promotional materials to customers. Delivery work involves driving within a designated area and carrying products to customer locations, sometimes navigating multi-story buildings and stairs. The position requires frequent use of hands and arms, forward bending, and reaching, and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including frequent reaching and hand use, forward bending, carrying products, walking, and climbing stairs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizzas at the pizza assembly station.
• Stock ingredients and shelves, and clean work areas, including low areas and dishes.
• Perform front-counter tasks and answer phones.
• Operate a pizza peel and rolling cutter to handle pizzas.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations; navigate stairs and other delivery sites.
