About The Position

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager for its Utah locations. The Assistant Manager leads a team in producing quality, hot, fresh, and consistent products and provides a positive customer service experience. This role is accountable for the location’s day-to-day operations and requires the ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment while maintaining health and safety procedures. The company seeks candidates willing to train toward becoming a General Manager in the future.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Trustworthy, results-driven, and team-oriented.
• Passion for product quality and positive customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Tactful, courteous, and respectful when interacting with others.
• Consistently gives sincere and total effort and demonstrates initiative.
• Comfortable using technology and restaurant equipment.
• Safety-conscious and willing to stop unsafe acts.
• Thrives on helping others succeed and teams excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members and support the team in succeeding.
• Manage the location’s day-to-day operations.
• Maintain product quality and consistency.
• Provide a positive customer service experience.
• Manage inventory.
• Handle customer complaints with a positive attitude.
• Hire and train new team members.
• Identify unsafe acts and be willing to stop them.
• Work toward training for a future General Manager role.
