About The Position
Happy People Pizza, a Domino’s Pizza franchise, is hiring an Assistant Manager with ambition to advance into a General Manager role. The company provides a paid training program; previous pizza experience is not required. The role offers the opportunity to develop management and customer service experience, with opportunities for advancement across the company’s 56 US stores. The Assistant Manager must be at least 18 years old, have one year of management experience, and be available to open or close. The role also involves supporting the community, including raising funds for local charitable donations, feeding people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Applicants who operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, including deliveries, must meet the stated driving-history and driving-record requirements. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least one year of management experience.
- Must be available to open or close.
- No pizza experience is required; the company provides a training program.
- For business driving, an 18-year-old must have proof of at least two years of driving history immediately before the MVR evaluation; a 19-year-old must have proof of at least one year. A documented learner’s permit period may count toward driving history, but an officially stated license is required.
- For business driving, no more than two driving-related violations in the two years before the MVR evaluation and no more than three in the three years before it; no more than one at-fault accident in the preceding three years.
- Applicants with specified disqualifying violations—including leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding an officer—may not drive for Domino’s.
