About The Position
Happy People Pizza, a Domino’s Pizza franchise, is hiring an Assistant Manager to join its growing team. The company offers a paid training program and opportunities to develop management and customer-service experience, with potential for career advancement across its 56 U.S. stores. No pizza experience is required. The role also involves supporting the local community through fundraising, providing food to people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Candidates must be over 18 and have at least one year of management experience. They must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday, or every other weekend. Driving may be part of the job for business purposes, including deliveries. Employees who drive for business must meet the stated driving-history and driving-record requirements.
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must have at least one year of management experience.
- Must be available for either Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend.
- No pizza experience is required; the company provides a training program.
- For business driving, an 18-year-old must have proof of at least two years of driving history immediately preceding the MVR evaluation; a 19-year-old must have proof of at least one year. A learner’s permit period documented by a governmental authority may count toward driving history, but an officially stated license is required.
- For business driving, candidates must have no more than two driving-related violations in the preceding two years, no more than three in the preceding three years, and no more than one at-fault accident in the preceding three years.
- Candidates with specified serious violations—including leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, driving violations involving drugs or alcohol, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding an officer—cannot drive for Domino’s.
Responsibilities
- Support store operations as an Assistant Manager.
- Participate in fundraising for local charitable donations, help feed people in need, and support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
- Operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, including making deliveries, if driving is required.
