This role is for an Assistant Manager at Mark's, a leading Canadian apparel retailer and part of the Canadian Tire family of companies. Mark's is known for its commitment to comfort, quality, and style, specializing in industrial and casual apparel, footwear, and accessories with strong private and exclusive brands. The Assistant Manager is expected to provide leadership, coach the team to deliver excellent customer service, and manage the B2B Mark’s Commercial Business function. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely order processing and delivery, providing exceptional omni-channel experiences, and supporting inventory management. The position also involves implementing and ensuring compliance with operating procedures, managing store operations, assisting with inventories, and upholding corporate policies related to LP, cash, audit, and OH&S. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role assumes full responsibility for store operations. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for training, communicating daily game plans, leading shift meetings, and ensuring team training completion. Furthermore, the role involves acting as a brand ambassador, motivating the team through recognition, managing performance, and fostering a positive, safe, inclusive, and empowering work environment.
