About The Position

We are seeking a Restaurant/Bar Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience.

Requirements

At least 3 years of previous management experience in food service or other related fields.
Strong leadership qualities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.

College studies in business related subjects preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists General Manager in ensuring and leading all employees to provide outstanding service.
Assist with onboarding including training, coaching and developing personnel.
Understands, enforces and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
Follow progressive disciplinary steps such as counseling and write-ups when needed.
Keep the General Manager aware of employee and customer incidents.
Make deposits, and ensure safe security.
Controls costs within the restaurant and maintains adherence to policy and procedure.
Plans, organizes, prioritizes, coordinates and implements daily work schedules.
Monitor stock levels, complete inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
Ability to perform and train in each position.
Oversee guest services and resolve issues.
Ability to operate all restaurant equipment.
Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory.
Maintain appropriate staffing.
Maintain a clean facility at all times.
Ensures that federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances are practiced and enforced.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
Other tasks or duties as assigned.
