This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, conducting inventory, cleaning, and delivering products. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for delivering flyers and door hangers. Training and orientation are provided on the job. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and co-workers, as well as for training and leading the team. The position requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, make correct monetary change, use a computer keyboard or touch screen, maintain cost controls, and navigate using a map to locate customer addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product.
