This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. The position requires strong communication and essential functional skills, including accurate mathematical calculations and the ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, fumes, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, and near/mid-range vision. The job primarily involves standing and walking, with some sitting for paperwork. Lifting and carrying of ingredients and products up to 50 pounds is required. Driving for deliveries is also a part of the role, along with pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination are continuous, including shaping dough, using tools, and assembling boxes. Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.
