About The Position

The Assistant Manager will lead a team of delivery drivers and customer service representatives to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly. This role involves maintaining appropriate staffing levels, handling end-of-night bank deposits and product inventory counts, and ensuring the store is properly set up for opening. The Assistant Manager will foster a sense of urgency, manage dispute resolution to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, collect money and signed credit card receipts from drivers, and ensure delivery vehicles meet inspection standards. Additionally, this role involves assisting with delivery driver routing to optimize service and on-time delivery, upholding Domino's standards for grooming and appearance, and promoting company products, specials, and promotions.

Requirements

  • Responsibility for end-of-night financial procedures (bank deposits).
  • Proficiency in product inventory management.
  • Store opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of delivery drivers and customer service representatives to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
  • Maintain staffing levels that mirror the needs of business at any point of the day.
  • Responsible for end-of-the-night bank deposits when closing.
  • Responsible for doing a nightly product inventory count when closing.
  • Ensure the store is set up properly and ready to receive orders upon time of open when opening.
  • Foster and project a sense of urgency with each and every order.
  • Comfortable with dispute resolution and ensuring every unhappy customer is a returning customer.
  • Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shift.
  • Ensure vehicles used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually.
  • Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize service to customers while maintaining Dominos standards of orders delivered on time.
  • Uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance.
  • Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
