About The Position

This role serves as a governance and operational enabler, safeguarding regulatory compliance, strengthening risk management, driving digital processes, and ensuring the scalability of licensing, training, and representative onboarding processes. The position directly supports GEFA's growth strategy by maintaining a sustainable operating framework that balances business expansion with regulatory obligations and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Compliance, Risk Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Financial Advisory, Insurance, Banking, Regulatory Operations, Licensing Administration, Compliance, Agency Operations, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in MAS licensing processes, representative onboarding, competency management, and regulatory reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • CMFAS qualifications (M5, M8, M8A, HI, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
  • Professional certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, Process Improvement, Automation, or Project Management are advantageous.
  • Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, or process improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Prior experience in project management, UAT testing, and system implementation will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the governance and continuous enhancement of the Licensing System (IPS), ensuring scalability, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance to support GEFA's business growth and evolving licensing requirements.
  • Serve as the key control point for CIS and SSD licensing operations, ensuring timely submission, approval, and maintenance of representative licensing requirements.
  • Oversee Reps’ particular updates and Cessation on MASNET, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with MAS requirements.
  • Champion representative competency and professional development by driving licensing readiness, learning pathways, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Design and enhance scalable training frameworks that support business expansion and elevate adviser capabilities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class onboarding and learning experiences.
  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding journey for representatives, ensuring a seamless transition from licensing to business activation.
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline access, systems readiness, and digital platform enablement.
  • Enhance onboarding processes to deliver a superior adviser experience while maintaining strong governance standards.
  • Drive automation, digitalisation, and process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and operational resilience.
  • Reimagine and optimise workflows to support business growth without increasing operational complexity.
  • Play a key role in transformation projects, system enhancements, and the adoption of innovative technologies.
  • Develop scalable operating models, governance practices, and standardised processes that support long-term business growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
  • Ensuring representatives meet licensing and competency requirements before conducting regulated activities.
  • Maintaining compliance with MAS requirements relating to licensing, representative competency, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of regulatory submissions and representative records.
  • Delivering sustainable and scalable processes that support business growth without increasing operational risk.
  • Maintaining operational readiness and business continuity for critical licensing and onboarding functions.
  • Driving automation and process enhancements to improve productivity and control effectiveness.
