About The Position

The Assistant Manager, Retail partners with the General Manager to support shop operations, create an exceptional customer experience, foster teamwork, develop team members, and meet or exceed location goals. The role is also intended to help build skills toward a future General Manager position. The position involves supporting employee hiring and development, shop accounting and inventory, equipment readiness, cleanliness, and customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of experience in a food service or retail job.
At least two years of management experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to nurturing an equitable, unbiased culture where team members are empowered to express their originality.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Manage and build a customer-focused team through coaching, measurement, and fostering teamwork.
Assist the General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and resolving team member disputes.
Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions.
Assist with shop accounting, including cash handling, corporate financial and operational reporting, counting and depositing revenue, and inventory control.
Ensure production, POS, retail, drive-thru, and processing equipment and other resources are operational for team members.
Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
Provide exceptional customer service and foster a culture in which customers and team members feel welcomed.
