Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year previous Lift Operations or Lift Maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Speak, read and write in fluent English
  • Previous guest service experience.
  • Flexible schedule, weekends and holidays required especially during peak times.
  • Strong guest service skills, attention to detail, professionalism and timeliness.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to ski or snowboard at a minimum level 6.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate exemplary attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and reliability at all times.
  • Serve as a role model for Lift Experience employees by consistently upholding company standards, policies, and expectations.
  • Schedule, supervise, and monitor the daily operation of all lifts while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained and address operational needs as they arise.
  • Maintain compliance with all timekeeping, labor, and payroll procedures, including proper clock-in, clock-out, and sign-in/sign-out processes.
  • Participate as a member of the resort leadership team and represent the Lift Operations Department in meetings and operational planning discussions.
  • Promote and model exceptional guest service while ensuring departmental compliance with guest service standards.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and develop both new and returning employees to support departmental success.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct employee evaluations, support goal setting, and recognize employee achievements.
  • Hold team members accountable to company policies, procedures, and operational standards through consistent coaching and corrective action when necessary.
  • Support leadership development for Leads and assist in developing future department leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, ANSI requirements, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate daily, seasonal, opening, and closing operational responsibilities within the department.
  • Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, labor management, and expense control for the department.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, professional, and productive work environment.
  • Lead by example in decision-making, communication, accountability, and overall job performance.
