About The Position
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care - Tracy is seeking a part-time experienced caregiver to assist adult clients in their homes throughout the Northern CA region. This is an immediate opening. The role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living such as cooking, bathing, dressing, toileting, housekeeping, laundry, ambulating, and physical transfers. Caregivers will work in a one-to-one setting in clients' homes and may have more than one client. Online training is required prior to starting shifts, though prior certifications may be accepted.
Requirements
- Prior Hoyer Lift experience
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must enjoy working with seniors
- Willing to complete online training prior to starting shifts (or provide certificates of previously completed trainings)
- Must be able to pass required background checks and reference checks.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications are a plus
- Being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as cooking, bathing, dressing, toileting assistance, housekeeping, laundry, ambulating and physical transfer.
- Work with one client at a time in a one-to-one setting at the clients' homes.
- Provide transportation services (requires valid driver's license).
