Caregiver - Modesto - Hoyer Lift Experience Needed
About The Position
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care - Tracy is seeking a PART-TIME experienced caregiver to assist adult clients in their homes in the Modesto area. This is an immediate opening for a caregiver who has prior Hoyer Lift experience and is available to start right away. The position involves working 3 to 6 hour part-time shifts Monday through Friday, weekends, and with having more than one client. Caregivers will work with one client at a time in a one-to-one setting in the clients' homes. Online training is required prior to starting shifts, but previously completed training certificates are accepted.
Requirements
- Prior Hoyer Lift experience
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must enjoy working with seniors
- Must be able to pass required background checks and reference checks.
- Willing to complete online training prior to starting shifts (or provide certificates of previously completed trainings).
Nice To Haves
- Certifications are a plus
- Being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as cooking, bathing, dressing, toileting assistance, housekeeping, laundry, ambulating and physical transfer.
- Provide transportation services.
- Work with one client at a time in a one-to-one setting at the clients' homes.
