The Assistant Manager of Building Maintenance schedules and delivers training. Inspects work in progress and at completion. Establishes work schedules and ensures that work is completed in a satisfactory and timely manner. Coordinates with other work groups to provide quality customer service. Drives from site to site. This role also coordinates and oversees daily work activities of skilled trade personnel, including scheduling and assigning staff, managing resources, and supporting training and employee development. Provides on-site leadership to various trades to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with University standards. Assists with inspections, customer service, and the development of estimates and budgets.
