The Assistant Manager - Asset Protection is responsible for providing Asset Protection and Safety leadership and support within an assigned Distribution Center. This role acts as a key partner in driving a culture of Asset Protection and safety, encompassing access control, key control, alarm protocols, and maintaining effective education and training programs. The position involves responding to and reporting building security and emergency situations, conducting investigations into theft, fraud, and workplace violence, and ensuring compliance with security, asset protection, and risk processes. The Assistant Manager will also serve as a liaison for facility management, own the recruiting and training of AP Coordinators, and manage the AP team through performance feedback and development plans. Additionally, this role is responsible for overseeing the training and execution of metal detector usage, managing the internal investigations program, training operations management on opening and closing procedures, and providing recommendations for policies and procedures to ensure supply chain integrity. Maintaining confidentiality and managing the complexities of a 24/7 operation to meet all standards are also key aspects of this role. Support for truck yard management processes and contribution to network priorities of 'Safety, Team, Results' are also expected.
