About The Position

The Paskin Group at The Madrid Apartments in Arlington, TX, is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to help us maintain our property. This role is ideal for someone experienced in property management maintenance or looking to start a career with opportunities for further training and advancement. Requirements

HVAC and pool certified
Experience using a variety of tools and equipment
Experience reading blueprints and various other architectural documents
Experience identifying, reviewing, and obtaining bids on projects in need of supervision from outside contractors
Experience maintaining files and keeping inventory of supplies
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform other physical duties
Ability to give and receive instructions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player
Exceptional problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain all assigned buildings.
Implement safety standards compliant with company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
Communicate with residents professionally and courteously to understand community needs.
Complete work orders.
Clean up the grounds.
Turn vacant units.
Pick up trash, sweep curbs and dumpster areas.
Maintain common areas.
Ensure the workshop, utility room, and mechanical rooms are clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
Track inventory and place orders for materials as needed.
Supply receipts to the property manager and maintenance supervisor.
Respond within thirty minutes during designated on-call hours.
