About The Position
The Assistant Maintenance Technician helps maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents. The role supports day-to-day maintenance operations and the general upkeep of the community, contributing to resident satisfaction. The technician is on call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies and performs grounds work and a range of maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of experience.
- Provide and use own tools.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, and maintenance staff.
- Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex.
- Support day-to-day maintenance operations and the general upkeep of the community.
- Be on call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
- Complete grounds work, including trash pick-up and light landscaping.
- Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance.
