About The Position

The Assistant Maintenance Manager (AMM) helps ensure the smooth operation of the facility and leads and develops the maintenance team. The role includes leading briefings, prioritizing work, inspecting the facility, ensuring safety compliance, and analyzing maintenance data to identify opportunities for improvement. The position is based in Joliet, Illinois, and is a direct-hire, full-time role scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 4 p.m. to 4 a.m., working four 12-hour shifts. The role offers potential advancement into higher management positions and specialized roles.

Requirements

• A four-year degree or five years of leadership experience in maintenance.
• At least three years of experience in a leadership role overseeing maintenance teams and programs.
• Experience performing maintenance on conveyors and robotics, or overseeing a team that has performed this maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead morning briefings and prioritize work orders.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance issues.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct audits.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Supervise and develop the maintenance team.
