About The Position
Luxor Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director/Supervisor to help maintain the smooth operation of building maintenance at its healthcare facility in Independence, Missouri. The role supports the building maintenance program and coordinates repairs, routine equipment maintenance, compliance, and required service visits. The position involves general repairs and work related to HVAC, plumbing, security, fire systems, electrical systems, elevators, and generators, as well as facility life safety.
Requirements
- General plumbing and electrical skills.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- General knowledge of how to use tools.
- Knowledge of NFPA and Life Safety codes.

- Healthcare building operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the building maintenance program and coordinate repairs.
- Perform general daily repairs, including work on doors, lights, and paint patching.
- Address maintenance needs involving HVAC, plumbing, security, fire systems, electrical systems, and elevators.
- Coordinate generator compliance and schedule routine generator maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with NFPA and facility life safety requirements.
- Coordinate required service visits on monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
