About The Position
AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring an Assistant Machine Operator. This role involves assisting with machine operations, quality control, packaging, and documentation. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $1,250, paid out in increments, and a starting pay of $21-25 per hour, depending on experience and shift. The job requires working 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with overtime opportunities available. Candidates must be able to stand for 11 hours consistently and lift/carry/pull up to 50 lbs consistently.

Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Package finished products accurately and meet production output goals.
- Complete production documentation and report downtime, scrap, or defects.
- Participate in training and support team development.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
