About The Position
AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring an Assistant Machine Operator. This role involves assisting with machine operations, quality control, packaging, and documentation. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $1,250, paid out in increments over 360 days. Starting pay ranges from $21-$25 per hour, depending on experience and shift.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for 11 hours consistently
- Ability to carry, lift, or pull 50 lbs consistently
Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Package finished products accurately and meet production output goals.
- Complete production documentation and report downtime, scrap, or defects.
- Participate in training and support team development.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
