About The Position

Join the A-Team at AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) as a Machine Operator! This role involves managing material conveying processes, monitoring and troubleshooting feeding systems, setting up and operating equipment, and performing machine maintenance to ensure quality production. The operator will also conduct inspections, resolve processing issues, and ensure proper waste disposal. This position offers 12-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available.

Requirements

Ability to stand for 11 hours consistently
Ability to carry, lift, or pull 50 lbs consistently

Responsibilities

Manage the material conveying process, including big bag or bulk offloading.
Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems to maintain continuous and consistent material flow.
Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment, ensuring full project set-ups for quality production.
Adjust machine controls throughout runtime to maintain optimal performance.
Perform machine maintenance and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards.
Respond to alarms and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards.
Address and resolve processing issues to deliver customer requirements within business needs. Understand customer issues created by upstream processes from conveyance, forming, and cutting devices to ensure efficient and timely changeovers to minimize downtime.
Ensure proper waste disposal procedures to prevent environmental pollution.
