The Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming is seeking an Assistant Livestock Manager to actively work across all aspects of their livestock operation. This role involves taking daily direction from the Livestock Manager and collaborating with the Livestock team. Responsibilities include guiding and supervising Livestock Apprentices, performing daily chores related to pasture management, fencing, and animal care for sheep, cattle, poultry, pigs, and livestock guardian dogs. The ideal candidate will embody Glynwood's working values of compassion, collaboration, stewardship, risk-taking, and adaptability, prioritizing animal welfare and working well in a close-knit farm team. This position offers ongoing mentorship and training with opportunities for professional growth within the Farm team. The role is full-time, 40-45 hours per week, with regular work hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with seasonal variations. The position start date is December 10, 2026. Compensation ranges from $25 to $29 per hour, depending on experience. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay.
