The Assistant Lab Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting the Lab Coordinator in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Health Studies Laboratories. They support lab-based instruction for the Health Studies program, contributing to the educational goals of the Faculty of Human & Social Sciences. This role involves the delivery, development, evaluation, and revision of lab exercises under the direction of the Lab Coordinator. The Assistant Lab Co-ordinator also serves as a resource for students in assigned Community Health courses. While Laboratory Coordinators are primarily responsible for laboratory content, this role has full responsibility for assigned laboratory sessions. The position reports to the Senior Administrative Officer, FHSS and the Course Instructor, with day-to-day direction from the Lab Coordinator. This is a university-wide role based at the Brantford Campus, requiring regular interaction and collaboration with departments at the Waterloo Campus and external partners, with a focus on equitable service delivery across all locations.
