About The Position
The Eagle, a food and beer hall serving Southern fried chicken and sides, is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for its Deerfield location in Mason, Ohio. The Assistant Kitchen Manager assists with the overall operation of the kitchen, overseeing people, product, quality, and hospitality. The position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and offers an opportunity to grow alongside Thunderdome Restaurant Group. The role requires continuous movement and regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. It also requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience as an Assistant Kitchen Manager or equivalent kitchen leadership experience.
- Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with leading the back-of-house team.
- Hire, train, schedule, and develop back-of-house team members and hold them accountable to company standards.
- Execute taste plates to ensure the food product is consistently high quality.
- Ensure recipes are updated and followed according to brand standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Implement and manage Thunderdome Restaurant Group standards and expectations.
