Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher
About The Position
Phoenix Ranch, part of Endeavor Schools, is seeking an Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher in Simi Valley, California. The role supports implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children during activities, including meals and naptime, to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The teacher helps lead learning activities, monitors children’s progress and development, and fosters a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in early childhood education in a certified child development center.
- Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
