About The Position

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to supervise and work alongside a crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas, including restrooms, the food court, and other public areas. The role pays $18.55 per hour and is full-time on the afternoon shift. The manager may also need to respond to site requests or incidents on call and adapt to variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent for full-time positions.
• Have at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers, patrons, and employees, assisting others in a friendly and engaging manner.
• Have excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Know cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and reliability in completing repetitive tasks.
• Have the integrity and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Have experience in operations, diagnostics, and maintaining HVAC/chiller systems.
• Have strong maintenance skills and knowledge, and computer proficiency.
• Make a professional impression in appearance and conduct, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Interact confidently and effectively with all management levels.
• Be willing to work hands-on alongside staff where needed.
• Adapt to change and modify goals and directives quickly.
• Be capable of multitasking, using independent judgment, and making sound decisions.
• Know OSHA and safety standards for housekeeping, maintenance, and landscaping programs.
• Be able to operate machinery, including high lifts, motorized tools, and vehicles.
• Be able to climb ladders and walk on the facility rooftop.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment frequently and repetitively.
• Be available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
• Be flexible and able to adapt to variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights.
• Have reliable transportation.

• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
