About The Position

Hotel Equities is seeking a remarkable Assistant Housekeeping Manager for The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, MI. This role supports the Housekeeping Manager by supervising room attendants and ensuring clean, well-maintained guest rooms that meet Company standards. The position is key in delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and walk most of the workday
• Lift up to 15 lbs regularly; push/pull carts up to 250 lbs occasionally
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance required

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality experience preferred
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise room attendants and ensure timely, high-quality room cleaning
• Inspect check-out, stay-over, VIP, and early make-up rooms
• Monitor room status and coordinate priorities with the Front Desk
• Handle short-notice room change requests
• Maintain inspection records and daily room status reports
• Prepare and follow up on maintenance work orders
• Ensure linen closets, carts, and equipment are clean and stocked
• Assist with linen inventory and safety compliance
• Coordinate with Engineering, Front Desk, and other departments
• Train and support new housekeeping associates
• Ensure all housekeeping policies and quality standards are met
• Take every opportunity to exceed guest expectations
