About The Position

Abilities, LLC is hiring an Assistant House Manager to support one of our ISL homes in Warrensburg. You'll work alongside the House Manager as the second-in-command in the home — sharing responsibility for staff support, schedule accuracy, documentation, and quality of care. This role is a stepping stone into House Manager for the right person, and we treat it that way.

Requirements

  • 1+ year supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass required background checks

Nice To Haves

  • Some leadership or mentoring experience (Lead DSP or similar) preferred
  • Reliable, accountable, steady under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the House Manager on coverage, scheduling, and day-to-day operations
  • Work direct care shifts and set the standard for what good support looks like
  • Coach and support DSPs in the home
  • Step in for the House Manager when they're off and serve as on-call on rotating weekends
  • Support medical coordination alongside our Nursing team
  • Keep documentation accurate and current — MARs, logs, incident reports

  • $21.50/hour minimum — higher with relevant experience
