About The Position

The Assistant Hockey Coach will work with students interested in sports, providing the necessary practice, support, and advice for the team to be successful against opposing teams during the sports season. This role requires a commitment to attending all practices, games, and bus trips as required, with availability Monday through Saturday beginning at 4 pm weekly and extended hours on Saturdays.

Requirements

• Current CT 600 coaching certification or eligibility to obtain a valid CT Coaching Permit.
• Current CPR/First Aide/AED certification.
• Knowledge of CIAC rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous high school and/or Hockey coaching experience.
• Minimum 5 years coaching experience at High School level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide practice, support, and advice to the team.
• Ensure team success against opposing teams.
• Attend all practices, games, and bus trips as required.
• Be available Monday through Saturday beginning 4 pm weekly and extended hours on Saturdays.
