About The Position
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. The Assistant Health Services Administrator is a full-time role at Pendleton Correctional Facility in Pendleton, Indiana, reporting to the Health Services Administrator. The position manages overall operations of the contracted clinical program at a designated correctional facility or complex of facilities within a Centurion contract. The role also plans, coordinates, directs, and supervises the clinical program, providing services to patients in a correctional setting and meeting the service delivery requirements of the specific contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Health and Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired.
- Experience in a correctional environment is preferred.
