About The Position

Cantera Montessori School, a private boutique Montessori preschool located on two beautiful acres of rolling Texas ranch land in Georgetown, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Head of School to help lead our growing campus community. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, organized, and compassionate leader who is passionate about early childhood education and thrives in a highly collaborative environment. As Assistant Head of School, you will partner closely with the Head of School to support the day-to-day operations of the campus while helping create an outstanding experience for every child, family, and staff member who walks through our doors. At Cantera Montessori, we believe leadership means being present, engaged, and willing to step in wherever needed to support the success of the school community. The Assistant Head of School plays a vital role in ensuring the campus operates smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on children and families. This role combines leadership, administration, operations, and hands-on support throughout the school day.
