About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring Assistant Guides at its Spruce Tree school. Assistant Guides help children ages 0–6 develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. The role supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom, including Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House ages 3–6, helping maintain a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.

Assistant Guides help prepare intentional learning spaces and support children through individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. They help children build confidence and discover their capabilities while working with Lead Guides and other team members to support the classroom community.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
