Under the specific direction of the Guiding and Operations Managers of STHS, the incumbent will assist in coordinating a culture of safety, focus on hazard management, and risk assessment for all STHS employees and contractors alike, while providing a positive, unique experience in the daily activities of helicopter skiing and boarding for the STHS guests. Additionally, the successful candidate will take on a senior leadership role in the STHS organizational structure. Performing duties in the office as needed in addition to lead guiding field work. While coordinating with the Guiding Manager, supervising guides, lead guides and the Operations Manager, the Assistant Guide Manager will ultimately be responsible for the smooth and efficient daily ski operations, logistics and will work with the Guiding and Operations Manager to coordinate, schedule, hire, and supervise the guiding team. Being a lead guide or guiding in general is a requirement as is working indoors both pre-season and during the seasonal operations. Although the Assistant Guide Manager has defined duties they will work closely with the Guiding and Operations Managers and assist as required to ensure that their duties are fulfilled and have met current expectations and requirements for the company, contractors, staff and clients alike.
