About The Position

Aramark Nexus is hiring an Assistant Guest Services Manager for Caprock Workforce Community, located outside Pampa, Texas. This full-time guest services leadership role supports the front desk, guest arrival experience, check-in process, resident support, service recovery, team coordination, and daily hospitality operations in a large residential workforce community. The Assistant Guest Services Manager helps ensure every guest is welcomed, checked in, informed, and supported throughout their stay at Caprock. This role is a strong fit for candidates with experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager, Guest Services Supervisor, Front Desk Supervisor, Hospitality Supervisor, Resident Services Supervisor, Concierge Supervisor, Lodging Supervisor, or Customer Service Manager. This is not a traditional hotel front desk role. Caprock is an all-inclusive workforce community where guests live, work, dine, and gather on site. Guests are not charged at check-in, and this role does not focus on billing, room rates, or payment processing. The focus is hospitality, organization, communication, issue resolution, and making sure guests feel taken care of from the moment they arrive. The Assistant Guest Services Manager will support daily front desk operations, assist with guest check-in and check-out coordination, help manage room assignments, communicate with housekeeping and maintenance, coach guest services team members, and resolve guest questions or concerns professionally. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous experience in guest services, front desk, hospitality, resident services, lodging, customer service, or a related service environment required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and support team members in a hands-on service environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused when handling guest concerns.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced residential workforce community.
  • Basic computer skills required, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email, guest records, or front desk systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance, security, dining, transportation, and operations teams.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior supervisory, team lead, or assistant manager experience preferred.
  • Experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager, Guest Services Supervisor, Front Desk Supervisor, Hospitality Supervisor, Resident Services Supervisor, Concierge Supervisor, Lodging Supervisor, or Customer Service Manager.
  • Experience in hotels, resorts, extended stay lodging, workforce housing, campus housing, residential communities, hospitality operations, or 24/7 service environments.
  • Experience supporting guest arrivals, room assignments, check-in coordination, service recovery, and front desk communication.
  • Experience coaching, scheduling, training, or supporting front desk or guest services employees.
  • Experience using property management systems, lodging systems, front desk software, Microsoft Office, or guest communication tools.
  • Experience working with housekeeping, maintenance, security, dining, transportation, or operations teams to resolve guest needs.
  • Bilingual communication skills are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily guest services and front desk operations at Caprock Workforce Community.
  • Help ensure guests are welcomed, checked in, informed, and supported during arrival and throughout their stay.
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out coordination, room assignments, guest records, and front desk communication.
  • Support a smooth arrival experience for new guests, employees, visitors, vendors, and client partners.
  • Coach and support front desk, guest services, concierge, or resident services team members.
  • Help train team members on guest service expectations, check-in procedures, communication standards, safety protocols, and site information.
  • Assist with scheduling and daily coverage to ensure the front desk is properly supported.
  • Respond to guest questions, requests, concerns, and service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Escalate guest concerns when needed and follow through to help ensure resolution.
  • Partner with housekeeping, maintenance, security, dining, transportation, and operations teams to support the guest experience.
  • Communicate room readiness, service needs, maintenance requests, arrival updates, and guest concerns to the right departments.
  • Help maintain accurate guest information, room assignment records, shift notes, and daily communication logs.
  • Support front desk systems, reporting, and administrative processes as required.
  • Monitor front desk organization, supply levels, cleanliness, and professional presentation.
  • Reinforce hospitality standards and help create a welcoming environment for guests, residents, employees, and visitors.
  • Support emergency procedures, safety communication, and incident escalation as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
