About The Position

The Assistant, Global Social Media Community and Insights position within the CALVIN KLEIN CMO Group will play a key role in the execution of the brand’s social media community engagement and assist with Listening and reporting initiatives on global owned channels, as well as off-channel mentions, with an emphasis on Instagram, TikTok, Threads and Gen Z platforms.

Requirements

  • 2+ year of relevant social marketing experience, in house or at an agency.
  • Fashion, beauty and lifestyle experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in social media community management, and/or digital community building
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to leverage an ever-changing brand tone
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment with team members at all levels
  • Resourceful and proactive, with strong organizational skills, internet research skills, and a keen attention to detail
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret data to inform strategic recommendations
  • Passionate about fashion, art, pop culture and global events
  • Ability to quickly absorb the spirit of the Calvin Klein brand
  • Versed in Keynote, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Google suite
  • Experience with social media publishing, analytic and listening tools.
  • Experience with Sprinklr, Lefty.io, BrandBastion, or comment moderation platforms in general a plus
  • Multiple languages a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the Assistant Manager, Global Social Media Community and Insights on a variety of tasks
  • Monitor social media for positive fan comments, influencer, PR, and viral posts to engage with, as well as potential crises via social media listening tool Sprinklr and natively on platform
  • Craft and publish comments and replies on engageable posts utilizing a full understanding and ability to leverage the Calvin Klein brand tone, including customer care and brand positioning instances
  • Master full spectrum of Customer Service and Corporate Communications social media policies and implement escalation processes, as well as ability to suggest messaging for new instances based on precedent and brand tone
  • Liaison between multiple cross-functional teams for copy approvals, customer service escalations, and other CM needs and deliverables
  • Use social media Listening tool Sprinklr to implement Social Listening strategies, including but not limited to updating Topics, Themes, and Keyword Lists, as well as maintenance of Listening Dashboards
  • Assist the Assistant Manager with weekly, monthly, campaign, and other one-off reporting needs such as competitor research, using platforms including Sprinklr and BrandBastion, as well as native searches
  • Maintain and update guidelines for safety actions and other automations of our third-party comment moderation partner, BrandBastion
  • Assist the Assistant Manager with implementation of Community Management campaign activation strategies.
  • Assist in the creation of GIFs from brand campaign assets to be leveraged on social channels for community engagement
  • Assist the Assistant Manager and the larger Social Team in the research and integration of SEO strategies and best practices in the social briefs
  • Must be available to work some holidays, nights and weekends, when applicable and planned ahead of time, due to special events and activations
