About The Position

Paradies Lagardère is hiring an Assistant General Manager to help launch and manage a Starbucks location in Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, inside the TSA checkpoint. The role is part of the management team and supports daily store operations, financial performance, and team development. The position focuses on delivering the Starbucks experience through customer connection, hospitality, and high standards while using the brand’s business practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of retail or customer service management experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial mentality and experience in a sales-focused environment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team partners with professional maturity.
• High school diploma or GED at minimum.
• Obtain and maintain current Serve Safe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire or promotion.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform essential job functions including standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in an environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to work full time, regularly in excess of 40 hours per week, including variable hours such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, based on business needs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office Suite, and mathematics.
