About The Position
Northern Taphouse in Maple Grove, MN is looking for a full-time Assistant General Manager. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for leading department-level restaurant operations and models leadership grounded in Northern Taphouse values. Success is measured by consistent delivery of balanced results through systems, methods, and procedures, leading to sustained growth in sales and profits through personal, people, business, and results leadership. We seek passionate managers dedicated to providing the best possible experiences for guests and employees. Our Management team creates an atmosphere of energy, enthusiasm, and fun, generating excellent service and positive morale. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills and a desire to grow. Managers promote excellence through superior customer service and are responsible for staffing, scheduling, financial goals, and staff development. Managers will oversee daily restaurant operations, including appearance and presentation, customer experience, and providing professional leadership and direction to all employees. They will also be responsible for selecting and training highly skilled service-oriented employees and conducting training to develop food and beverage knowledge and sales skills.
