About The Position

The Assistant General Manager is a non-exempt store operations role and serves as manager-on-duty and second in command to the General Manager. The position helps run store operations, supports recruitment, training, and scheduling, maintains company and brand standards, and helps deliver quality products and service. Assistant General Managers are expected to contribute to sales and profit goals, maintain a safe and clean store, build effective team relationships, and support customer and community engagement. This role offers training and support, opportunities for career progression, and the chance to develop operational and leadership skills. The position involves mentoring store-level team members and handling administrative and operational tasks including cash reconciliation, inventory management, and marketing support.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to use proprietary software systems, including PULSE and PWR.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone.
Near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and depth perception.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to stand for long periods; most tasks are performed from a standing position.
