About The Position

The Assistant General Manager helps lead a fast-paced, multi-outlet food and beverage operation at MGM National Harbor. The role oversees the National Market, an open-concept food hall with five upscale quick-service venues; the Bellagio Patisserie, which serves French-inspired pastries, hand-crafted chocolates, and coffee; and In-Room Dining. The Assistant General Manager supports day-to-day operations, guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence across these dining experiences.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant management experience, preferably in multi-outlet, high-volume or quick-service restaurant operations and/or a concessions setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations, labor scheduling, and financial performance across multiple outlets.
• Inspire, train, and develop a service-focused team while supporting a culture of excellence and inclusion.
• Partner with the General Manager to execute strategic goals, deliver staff performance feedback, and ensure guest service standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to provide seamless service and memorable dining experiences.
• Serve as a key point of contact for guest interactions, manage service recovery, and support continuous improvement.
