Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct restaurant management experience in a high-volume, fine dining environment.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification.
  • Demonstrated passion for the art of fine dining and the execution of premier events.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional presence.
  • Highly organized with the strong ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong business sense combined with hands-on experience in restaurant operations, cost control, and guest service excellence.
  • Minimum WSET 2 or equivalent.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in beverage management is an asset.
  • Shift work for open/mid/close, weekend buyouts and holidays.
  • Will work both ALC service & private events.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate the restaurant's vision to all team members and lead by example.
  • Embody the O&B values daily and inspire the team with an exciting vision for the future.
  • Regularly monitor and achieve the O&B points of technical service and points of details.
  • Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members, and senior management.
  • Create, foster, and maintain a rave-worthy bar program.
  • Promote the restaurant with high personal integrity and business ethics.
  • Conduct recruitment, selection, training, and development initiatives.
  • Manage performance and employee coaching.
  • Apply and use conflict resolution and problem-solving skills and inspire others to do the same.
  • Assist with tracking sales, invoicing, and managing inventory.
  • Conduct and coach the management team to host well-informed briefings with service staff prior to each function or service.
  • Have a strong grasp of service needs and schedule accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as required.
