About The Position

Skyline Chili is seeking a passionate Assistant General Manager (AGM) who is dedicated to hospitality and guest service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a positive, fun, and playful environment where providing a unique and uplifting experience for guests is the top priority. The AGM will assist in directing and administering the operational efforts of the restaurant, ensuring on-target financial results, safety and security, exceptional hospitality, quality, service, and cleanliness. This role involves ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, including standard operating procedures, human resource policies, and strategic directives. The AGM will also be responsible for ensuring guests are promptly and professionally served according to Company guidelines and will assist in the selection, training, direction, development, and supervision of restaurant Team Members. The company has a rich history, opening its first restaurant in 1949 and is dedicated to bringing friends and families together by providing a people-first culture for its Team Members.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in directing and administering the operational efforts of the restaurant including on-target financial results, safety and security, hospitality, quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure established policies and procedures are followed according to standard operating procedures, human resource policies, and strategic directives.
  • Ensures guests are promptly and professionally served according to Company’s guidelines.
  • Assist in the selection, training, direction, development, and supervision of restaurant Team Members.
  • Restaurant services are efficiently and effectively delivered in accordance with established Company policies and standards.
  • Good business relationships exist with customers and their questions and problems are promptly resolved.
  • Restaurant personnel are developed and well-trained and efficient, and their activities well-coordinated.
  • Required reports and records are accurate and timely.
  • Suggestions are provided for improved efficiency or effectiveness in operations.
  • Good working relationships exist with restaurant and corporate personnel.
  • Restaurant profitability is in line with Company expectations.
