Assistant General Manager - Bellevue
About The Position
The Assistant General Manager supports the shop’s overall success by leading people, operational execution, and guest experience in a fast-paced retail and food service environment. Working closely with the General Manager, this role supports daily shop operations, develops strong teams, helps drive operational excellence, fosters an engaging and inclusive shop culture, and contributes to making the shop a neighborhood destination. The role includes leading shifts, supporting operational, cultural, and financial goals, and providing memorable hospitality to guests. The position is full-time in Bellevue, Washington. The listed hiring wage is $28.70–$30.61 per hour, with broader earning potential of $28.70–$35.08 per hour and quarterly bonus potential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of food service, fast-casual dining, or hospitality experience.
- At least 18 months of progressive leadership experience.
- Experience leading teams of 10 or more Team Members in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to coach, develop, and support people with clarity and care.
- Interest in growing into greater leadership responsibility.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager to achieve operational, cultural, and financial goals.
- Lead shifts to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Plan and execute daily shift schedules, task assignments, and team safety.
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to Team Members, Shift Coordinators, and Scoopers.
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of a high-performing team.
- Manage cash transactions and inventory, and ensure product quality and food safety.
- Assist with payroll, supplies, shop communications, and daily documentation.
- Monitor labor and sales performance and support monthly profit-and-loss insights.
- Partner on maintenance needs and vendor communications.
- Deliver memorable hospitality, share flavor stories, and resolve guest concerns.
- Step into team roles as needed and participate in community events.
