As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Assistant General Manager who is passionate about leading people, driving results, and creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is the second-in-command at a Raindrop Car Wash location and plays a vital role in the daily success of the business. Working alongside the General Manager, the AGM leads team members, supports operational excellence, drives membership sales, and ensures every customer receives a fast, friendly, and high-quality experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing others, and is comfortable making real-time decisions to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in retail, hospitality, automotive, or another customer-focused environment.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to coach others on identifying customer needs and delivering value-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
  • Regular exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, loud equipment, and moving vehicles.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve operational and sales goals.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused team culture.
  • Train, mentor, and develop employees while providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures are consistently followed.
  • Champion a performance-driven sales culture with a focus on Unlimited memberships.
  • Coach team members to confidently identify customer needs and recommend the best wash and membership options.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to create lasting customer loyalty.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, daily cash handling, and labor management.
  • Oversee daily operations across the lot, prep area, kiosks, and wash tunnel to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and facility appearance.
  • Identify operational or mechanical concerns and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Help ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and company safety standards.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment, chemicals, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
