About The Position

UFC GYM is seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Assistant General Manager focused on business development, corporate partnerships, community outreach, and lead generation. This role is designed for someone who thrives on networking, building strategic relationships, generating opportunities, and creating partnerships that drive membership growth. The Assistant General Manager – Business Development will work directly with the General Manager to expand UFC GYM's presence within the local community through corporate wellness partnerships, apartment outreach, schools, healthcare providers, local businesses, events, and referral networks. This position combines outside sales, business development, community engagement, and in-club sales leadership to generate new memberships, appointments, referrals, and revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, corporate sales, outside sales, account management, or partnership development.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong networking and communication skills.
  • Experience generating leads and creating revenue opportunities through partnerships and referrals.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable attending networking events and representing the UFC GYM brand in the community.

Nice To Haves

  • Fitness industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporations, schools, hospitals, apartment communities, first responders, and community organizations.
  • Create and manage corporate wellness partnerships and employee benefit programs.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, community involvement, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for tabling events, health fairs, community events, and business expos.
  • Represent UFC GYM at networking events, chamber of commerce meetings, community functions, and local business gatherings.
  • Build referral pipelines that drive new memberships and private coaching opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers and business owners throughout the market.
  • Generate leads, appointments, guest traffic, and referrals through community outreach efforts.
  • Assist in achieving monthly membership sales goals, EFT targets, and personal training revenue goals.
  • Conduct membership presentations, tours, and enrollment appointments.
  • Support Membership Specialists in lead generation, appointment setting, and follow-up execution.
  • Maintain consistent activity levels through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship development.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track outreach, opportunities, appointments, and partnership performance.
  • Coordinate and execute in-club and off-site marketing events.
  • Assist with grand openings, special promotions, member appreciation events, and community activations.
  • Develop partnerships that increase UFC GYM visibility throughout the market.
  • Work closely with club leadership to maximize event attendance and lead conversion.
  • Support the General Manager in achieving overall club sales and operational goals.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
  • Assist in training Membership Specialists on lead generation and community outreach strategies.
  • Maintain a positive club culture and exceptional guest experience.
  • Collaborate with all departments to create opportunities for membership, coaching, recovery, and retail sales growth.
