Located in East Cobb, Camps Kitchen & Bar has been serving guests for a decade with chef-inspired cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality. Known for fresh flavors, creative menus, stone-oven pizzas, handmade pastas, and seasonal culinary features, Camps continues to be a favorite destination for dining, private events, and special occasions. In addition to nightly dinner service, Camps features a private event venue that hosts corporate events, celebrations, rehearsal dinners, networking functions, holiday parties, and private dining experiences. We are seeking a passionate Assistant General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys developing teams, building guest relationships, and helping drive business growth. This is an opportunity to join an established restaurant with growth potential while developing the leadership skills necessary to become a future General Manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a full-service environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for hospitality and guest service
  • Ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts with confidence, professionalism, and energy
  • Coach, train, and develop team members and supervisors
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and hospitality-focused culture
  • Lead effective pre-shift meetings and daily communication
  • Support all Front of House and Back of House operations
  • Ensure food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service standards are maintained
  • Execute operational systems and procedures consistently
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and staffing initiatives
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
  • Build relationships with guests and event clients
  • Help create loyal repeat business through strong guest engagement
  • Support local marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts
  • Assist with private event execution and guest satisfaction
  • Help identify opportunities to increase sales and guest frequency
  • Support initiatives designed to grow the business
